The Story
Goodbye New York is a contemporary epic set in twenty-four hours.
When a young woman seeks closure on her final day in her beloved New York City, she runs into an old “friend” and invites him on her last adventure. As they catch up on old times, she shows him the New York she loves and the life he’s been missing while focused on his hospital residency. Instead of lamenting what could have been, they take off on a sweeping race through town, a “magic pedicab ride”, igniting the romance they missed ten years ago.

But their joy is short lived, as she is harboring a fateful secret that threatens to pull them apart forever. Part social drama, part romantic comedy, Goodbye New York presents the idea that a second chance at love doesn’t always come along, but if it does . . . do we take it? Even if it only lasts one day? Is it worth it to pull someone closer . . . only to say goodbye?
